Creative Jewelry Workshops & Birthday Parties
Making your own jewelry is just as much fun as wearing it. That's why you can also book From Under the Rafters for creative workshops and children's birthday parties at your own location.
You choose in advance which activity or activities you'd like to do. Based on your choices, I'll put together a program that suits the participants' ages and the time available. You could choose one longer workshop or combine two shorter activities with a break in between.
I'll bring all the necessary materials and tools. You just need to provide a suitable space with enough tables and chairs.
Choose your activities
Make a personalized beaded bracelet
Ages 7 and up | 30 to 45 minutes
Choose your own beads, colors and, of course, the letters for your name or another word. Then you'll string your bracelet and I'll show you how to finish it with knots. I'll take care of sealing the ends with heat.
Everyone takes home a bracelet they've made themselves. You can also choose a word or message instead of a name. If there's enough time, you may be able to make a second or third bracelet.
Decorate a ring
Ages 7 and up | Approximately 20 minutes
Choose a ring and pick out the rhinestones you'd like to decorate it with. You decide on the color combination and arrange the stones yourself. I'll take care of the gluing.
A short and simple activity that's easy to combine with making personalized beaded bracelets, for example.
Make a macramé bracelet
Ages 12 and up | Approximately 1 hour
Learn step by step how to make your own bracelet using macramé knots. You can choose from several designs before getting started. Examples and instructions will guide you through the process, and I'll be there to help whenever you need it.
Make your own ear cuffs
Ages 12 and up | Approximately 2 hours
In this longer workshop, you'll create your own set of ear cuffs. You'll learn how to use wire, beads and different techniques to build a piece of jewelry that follows the shape of your ear.
This workshop requires a little more patience and fine motor skills. I'll explain the techniques and guide you through the process.
Make fringe earrings
Ages 14 and up | Approximately 2 hours
Create earrings using small seed beads arranged in a pattern of different colors. You'll learn how to thread the beads and build the distinctive fringe pattern.
Fringe earrings take quite a bit of time to make, so you might not finish them completely during the workshop. If that happens, you'll receive the materials you need to finish them at home.
Create your own workshop program
You can choose a single activity or combine several. If you'd like to combine activities, I'll put together a program in advance, allowing enough time for each activity and a short break where needed.
Workshops are suitable for up to 8 participants. This allows me to give everyone personal guidance, especially when working with techniques such as macramé, ear cuffs and fringe earrings.
The minimum ages listed above are based on the difficulty of the techniques. If you're unsure whether an activity is suitable for your group, we can discuss the options together.
Prices
You can put together your own workshop by choosing one or more activities. Prices are per participant and include the materials used during the workshop.

Would you like to combine several activities? Simply add their prices together. For example, making personalized beaded bracelets and decorating rings costs €17.50 per participant.
A minimum total booking amount of €75 applies. Workshops can be booked for a maximum of 8 participants.
Travel costs
I offer workshops and children's birthday parties at your own location, such as your home. I'll bring the agreed materials and all the necessary tools.
After your inquiry, you'll receive a quote outlining the full program and total costs, including any applicable travel expenses.
