Falling Stars Ear Cuffs | Blue Glass Beads and Silver-Tone Stars

Falling Stars is a handmade pair of ear cuffs featuring faceted glass beads in different shades of blue and silver-tone stars. The beads hang in multiple strands along the ears, catching the light through their faceted surfaces.

From clear and light blue to deeper iridescent shades, the different glass beads give each strand its own color and shine. Small stars at the ends evoke the image of shooting stars against a blue sky. The strands move independently, giving the design a playful, layered look.

Falling Stars was developed as a successor to Blue Star. While the original design mainly featured acrylic beads, this version uses glass beads. The large star connector has also been replaced with a smaller, more delicate star ornament. Some of the beads come from the former hobby shop and are available in limited quantities.

No piercings are needed to wear these ear cuffs. They fit over your ears.

Size

The longest strand measures approximately 9 cm (3.5 inches).

The ear cuffs are slightly flexible and can easily be adjusted to the shape of your ear for a comfortable fit.

A pair of ear cuffs weighs approximately 19 grams.

As each pair is handmade, there may be slight variations in the exact placement of jump rings and beads.

Style & Inspiration

Falling Stars is inspired by stars falling across a blue evening sky. The different shades of blue and bead finishes catch the light, while the silver-tone stars hang among and below the strands.

The design pairs well with fantasy outfits and costumes, but also with darker clothing that makes the blue and silver stand out. For those who prefer shorter strands, there is also Falling Stars Mini, featuring its own combination of blue glass beads.
