Mystery custom ear cuffs

These ear cuffs are made especially for you based on the choices you make when placing your order. You choose the theme, color palette, desired length, metal color, and bead type. Based on these personal choices, I design and create your pair of ear cuffs.

Within your chosen specifications, I decide which beads, charms, and other elements work best together. This means that every pair is individually crafted and made specifically for that order.

The photos show examples of my style and the materials I may use across different themes. They do not show fixed designs that will be replicated exactly.

Theme

You choose a theme as the starting point for the design:

• Enchanted Garden
  Think flowers, butterflies, fairies, leaves, and other botanical elements.
• Enchanted Forest
  Think feathers, owls, acorns, trees, leaves, and other elements from the forest.
• Moon & Stars
  A design featuring stars, moons, and other elements inspired by the night sky.
• Winter Magic
  Snowflakes, icy details, and other elements with a wintry feel.
• Unicorns
  Unicorns combined with other magical and natural elements.
• Maker's Choice
  You leave the theme entirely up to me.

The materials mentioned are examples. I decide on the final combination based on your other choices, the materials I have available, and what works well together as a design.

If you have a preference within a theme, such as butterflies or a particular combination, you can mention this in the comments. Would you like a theme that isn't listed? Select Maker's Choice and describe your preference in the comments field. I will take your wishes into account as much as possible. If something really isn't possible, I will contact you.

Colour palette

You choose a color palette for the design. This is not a fixed color combination: I may use different shades and complementary colors to create a cohesive design.

If you choose Maker's Choice, I will decide which colors work best with the design.

Length

You choose the desired length of the longest strand, measured from the lowest ring of the ear cuff:

• Short: approximately 5 cm
• Medium: approximately 8 cm
• Long: approximately 10 cm

The exact length may vary slightly depending on the beads, charms, and construction used.

The number of strands is not predetermined. I decide how many strands the design needs while creating it, usually between 1 and 3.

Beads

For the standard version, I mainly use glass beads and other suitable materials from my collection.

You can also choose premium beads. In that case, I will incorporate materials such as crystal glass, (semi-)precious stones, mother-of-pearl, and other special beads into the design. These may be combined with regular glass beads when this works better for the design.

Metal colour

You can choose from three colors for the metal wire and basic components:

• Silver-coloured
  Stainless steel wire.
• Copper-coloured
  Copper wire with a tarnish-resistant coating.
• Gold-coloured
  Copper wire with a layer of silver, followed by a gold-coloured finish and a transparent tarnish-resistant coating. The color resembles 14K gold.

Eye pins, jump rings and other basic components are matched to your chosen metal color where possible. With copper-coloured wire, I use antique copper-coloured components.

Not all decorative materials are available in every metal color. Charms, beads and other details may therefore have a different metal color when this suits the design.

Production time

These ear cuffs are made especially for you according to your chosen specifications. Therefore, the production time is 2 to 4 weeks. Production starts once your order has been paid.

Size

The ear cuffs are made to fit standard-sized ears.

They are slightly adjustable for a comfortable fit, but are not designed to accommodate large differences in ear size. Unsure about the fit? Please get in touch with me before placing your order.

Each Mystery Custom is individually composed based on the choices you make when placing your order. Within those specifications, I have creative freedom to combine materials and elements into a cohesive design.
