Necklace with hummingbird and flower beads

This necklace is composed of a hummingbird charm, glass beads, and flower beads in soft shades of green, blue, and pink. A silver-coloured chain adds a layered structure to the design.

The necklace is suitable for those who like natural motifs and soft colours, and are looking for a piece that is visible without feeling heavy. It pairs well with light fabrics or an open neckline and comes into its own at special occasions and fantasy or themed events.

Only one piece of this necklace is available. The flower beads used are no longer in stock and are no longer produced, which means this design cannot be recreated.

Materials & origin

Unless stated otherwise, all materials come from the former hobby shop.

• Faceted glass beads – in dark aqua, iris mint green, iris black, iris rainbow, iris purple, and pink
• Swarovski toupilles – in jet 2x AB and garnet, used as subtle sparkling accents
• Green glass butterfly beads – newly sourced in the Czech Republic
• Flower beads – from old sorting trays that were once used in the shop for selecting individual beads; these beads are no longer available
• Chain – silver-coloured chain with platinum finish, nickel-free
• Hummingbird – silver-coloured stainless steel charm, newly sourced
• Basic materials – stainless steel lobster clasp with heart-shaped extension chain, head pins, eye pins, and split rings, partly newly sourced

Size

The inner length of the necklace is 40 cm. The extension chain measures approximately 5 cm, allowing the necklace to be adjusted to about 45 cm.

Style & inspiration

The hummingbird and flower shapes refer to nature, movement, and lightness. The colours are inspired by hummingbirds and the flowers they are drawn to, giving the necklace a calm and gentle appearance.
